I'm really happy with the way this album turned out. We recorded it in L.A. with our friend Mudrock. The Sugar drum company makes a great snare that I used for some of the more nuanced orchestral passages. Beautiful string arrangements. |

I'm thrilled to have played on this record along with so many talented friends. It always helps to take a new batch of songs on the road before their tracking. We recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago and although the drums sound great, the real fillet of the session is that fierce organ sound courtesy of Patrick Newbery. Probably the 10th record I've worked on with him. |

On tour with Icy Demons in 2009, we shared a bill in Roubaix, France with Rainbow Arabia. We got along so well they invited me to sit in with them that night. While I was in LA a few months later, I recorded a some stuff for this record. A few months after that, they invited me to come out and watch their dogs, and I suddenly realized I'd been tricked into moving to LA and joining this bizarre Goth-pop-world-electro band. |

Of course I said yes, and a few months later I'm iin the conspirancy-theory-summer-camp van in New England with Robert and Daniel Carter.. |
